Yes, once your account is created simply create a new SSL for your email from within your hosting account.

IMAP synchronises your email with the server whereas POP3 only downloads them to your phone. If you were to delete any files with IMAP they would be permanently deleted whereas with POP3 you would need to delete the emails manually.
